Logeion. A Journal of Ancient Theatre is a peer-reviewed journal, which publishes original scholarly articles in English, French, German, Italian and Modern Greek on every aspect of ancient Greek and Roman theatre and drama, including its reception in modern theatre, literature, cinema and the other art forms, as well as its relation to the theatre of other periods and geographical regions. All types of methodological approaches and theoretical perspectives are welcome. Emphasis is being placed on interdisciplinary approaches. The journal is published annually by Crete University Press as a consecutively paginated issue. It is indexed in and archived by SCOPUS, erih+, L’Année Philologique, and it is included in the databases of EBSCO and ProQuest.
